Retinal Surgical: Performed more than 1000 retina surgeries including complicated retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, scleral buckling, macular hole, ERM peeling and many others.
Retinal lasers: Performed more than 2000 retinal procedures including complicated lasers in premature infants, Coat’s disease and retinal tumours.
Intravitreal injections: Given more than 5000 injections including Avastin, Accentrix, Lucentis, Eylea and Ozurdex injections for various retinal diseases.
Cataract surgery: Performed more than 2000 cataract surgeries till date with excellent outcomes. Proficient in implantation of latest intraocular lenses including multifocal and toric lenses.

Coherence Tomography: We have the latest spectral domain OCT scan machine and are able to scan retinal structures with a resolution of 5 microns, giving us very precise information of the disease process. OCT scans are not only used for diagnosis of your retinal condition but also for follow up of diseases on a periodic basis.

Lasers and injections

Laser therapy for the retina is required for many diseases that threaten your vision. This form of treatment is usually preventive and is suggested before you experience vision loss. Laser therapy is an OPD procedure, does not need special preparation, does not need anaesthesia and is virtually painless.
